Enrico Mazzone and a vision of excellence
Enrico Mazzone began his career as an entrepreneur in the electrical business. He has over 25 years of experience in this field, and has been accredited within the Vaughan community.
Enrico Mazzone has been living in the Vaughan community for over 20 years. He is an active member in his community and continues to support many initiatives that his city has to offer. He currently is a member of Centro Calabria and a dedicated President of the Mammola Social Club in Toronto.
Enrico is very dedicated and passionate when it comes to soccer. His commitment for the game began at the age of 7, where he played in a small town in Genoa. From there it all began. His vision and goals in allowing children to participate and excel was shown through his participation in coaching his son’s soccer teams and becoming involved in the soccer world.
On October 2nd 2006, The Soccer Academy for Champions was born. The official opening of AC Milan Soccer School in Vaughan was announced. The ideas of Enrico Mazzone and other colleagues became a reality.
Through the direction of AC Milan, Italy, and The Soccer Academy for Champions, we are able to offer the following programs:
- AC Milan Scuola Calcio
- AC Milan Academy
- AC Milan Junior Camp
- AC Milan Youth Development Program (currently in progress)
Through these programs, we hope to have scouts from around the world choose athletes, our children from our country.
On behalf of The Soccer Academy for Champions, I would just like to say thank you to everyone who have supported our programs and initiatives. I hope that we can continue to work together and strive to become the best soccer academy in the world.
QUOTE UNQUOTE
Franco Baresi came to our school yestarday. He taught me may things about soccer and his life but the most important thing he taught us was that education always comes first before everything. I enjoyed the whole presentation. But my favourite part was when he came up to me and signed my Italia jersey and a picture of him.
